the initial selfie from covid19 with it's arm tossed over the shoulder of the healthcare system had a similar, non-amorous, layer of appeal to it. the pitch was that without some *temporary* lockdown, we had little in the way of assurance that our healthcare system wouldn't be totally overrun, which could bring catastrophic collateral damage beyond covid afflictions themselves. fair enough, and I don't know that *everyone* could have really been expected to know it would be a fraudvirus ex ante. but now it's become abundantly clear that the healthcare system was NOT overrun.

indeed most places it wasn't anywhere close, but even where out was there's little excuse for not trying to get most people back on some path to normalcy, but shitlibs are having none of that. just like your significantly older and heavier tinder date who's now drunk enough to start telling you what she REALLY thinks, shitlibs have dropped the mask, so to speak, and are insisting that it's lockdowns today, lockdowns tomorrow, LOCKDOWNS FOREVER, their original justification that everyone was sold on quickly memory-holed and forgotten.
