We had ordered the xo Borani, the xo koobideh lunch portion and the MFCR XO LAMB SHANK, everything was delicious. We’d been waiting a while for our bill so I flagged down the Jose that was cleaning the tables and asked if he could get our bill. As he was returning with our bill the Persian waiter shoo’d him away, approached us excitedly and said “You have to try our ice cream, it is sooo delicious. It has saffron and nuts in it.” We thought he was offering it on the house, but when we got our bill I noticed he charged $7.95 for the ice cream, which, by the way, was soooo CR.
We tipped him normally but just wondering what the Talmud might think about this situation. TYIA |
