did any of you bros watch The Stand miniseries back in the day?

Why would advertisers agree to pay rates that were based an atypical programming? It's not like normal Monday night programming on ABC was a $28 million dollar miniseries.

i recall watching some of this one after having been forbidden to watch others when i was even younger, especially IT.
i remember the langoliers. that was like the most boring awful piece of shit ever. |

Date: April 27th, 2012 1:20 PM Author: plum theater stage sound barrier i recall thinking all those tv adaptations were awesome when i got to watch them as a kid because i was reading every one of king's books. i saw some of the stand on the sci fi channel a few years ago and remember thinking it was very B-list from almost all the actors down to the way it was shot.
it's on netflix streaming though. |
