A lot of these guys have volume bankruptcy/divorce/dui practices and live on the edge of ethics. Just too much coming in to really cross all the Ts and dot all the Is. But yeah, most new lawyers can hang a shingle, run a few local ads and get the phone to ring nonstop. Seen more than one of my classmates get disbarred going this route though.
