It's more acceptable in Europe to have bad teeth but probably less acceptable to be fat.
Every society has its own particular standards on these things.
America generally seems to favor "shiny" aesthetics; bleached white teeth, tans, gelled up hairstyles (historically speaking), big boobs on women, big muscles on men.
European aesthetics seem basically, "be thin, dress well." |
