of the big ones CA and FL are particularly dangerous and I'm not even counting the savage "teens" that ravage neighborhoods.
Parts of Texas are also hurricane/flood prone.
Most of the Southeast experiences powerful hurricanes, basically everything from Louisiana up through North Carolina.
The Great Plains experiences tornadoes, though not as frequently as the above issues.
Pacific Northwest has Earthquakes.
So is the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic/Northern Midwest the cr?

generally the areas that have the crappiest weather year round have the lowest probability of catastrophic events. I would probably lump Pacific Northwest into the "safe" grouping but otherwise cr.

Apologies, but I must correct you—the Midwest definitively stops at Denver.
The Front Range is the natural boundary, stretching its Midwestern influence into Southern Wyoming and, reluctantly, grazing the eastern edges of Montana.
Once you cross the Front Range, you’re no longer in the Midwest. You’re in the gateway to the Southern Rockies—the Foothills—a land where the air gets thinner and the cheese curds cease to flow.
It’s a world far removed from the sacred rites of grudging politeness and unapologetic dairy worship.

Retarded to break it down by state as opposed to by specific location.
For example, much of California has no fire risk and no earthquake risk.
