Date: March 23rd, 2025 4:46 AM Author: .,.,.;;,;.,..,:,,:,...,:::,...,:,.,.;.:...:.,:.::, i am extremely anti AA and i don't doubt that NYU and basically every other school is perpetuating it in surreptitious ways, which was easy to guess before seeing this. but i'll autistically say this data alone isn't sufficient to say they are still doing AA as long as admissions isn't based entirely on SAT scores and grades, you'd also have to know the number of applicants and admits by race. this obviously isn't true but at the extreme, if NYU is admitting 30% of asian students but 5% of black students because black students on average score a lot lower than asians, then your black admits are ostensibly being held to materially higher standards on other shit. but my guess is the admit rates by race are more even or even flipped to favor blacks, and the difference in other admissions criteria boils down to the "personality" garbage that was used to conduct open racism against asians and whites.
