Removal of tress would cause a decrease in oxygen and an increase in CO2, eliminating A and B -- you have to know photosynthesis for this.

C is tricky, because the removal of vast swathes of trees sounds like it might cause temperature fluctuations. D is tricky because it's ambiguous: "erosion" of what? Soil?

I picked D, because I figured that if you dig up a bunch of trees, that will fuck up the soil.
