This makes initial sense because you don’t have people with front seats holding back people from walking to the back of plane. But it often wreaks havoc with baggage on domestic because passengers have more luggage than space available and because folks at the back panic and see open space before their seat and put their bags up. So then there’s empty space for baggage at the back and everyone at the front (who often have more status) have nowhere to put their bags. It’s a clusterfuck.
