New weird rendition of Bond where he’s like 6’7 and looks like Thor. Horrible movie. But women rank it #1 bond.

Pierce Brosnan- best combination of look, acting, physicality. His first two films are top tier. the last two are subpar.
Sean Connery - good look and physicality. First mover advantage
Daniel Craig - great actor, bad look. better scripts/production than pierce ever had.
Roger Moore - bad look, bad actor, bad physicality, but high on charisma. He is the first bond I knew of so his movies bring a nostalgia.
Tim Dalton - good look, zero charisma. Despite what people say he was not closer to "book bond". in the books bond is never this boring.
George Lazendby - brought looks but nothing else. had one of the best scripts to work with in OHMSS

Bond is supposed to be dark haired, tall, lean, and handsome.
Fleming himself said the look was partially inspired by Hoagy Carmichael:

craig is the inverse of this.

While Dalton isn't the best, he's got a great look and The Living Daylights is a great movie. I think he was almost going to be Bond for a third movie, but it got scrapped for studio rights reasons or some BS. Too bad.
Casino Royale might be the best of the films, but I agree that Craig's look is never going to make him the top guy. Too jacked and a couple inches too short.

Remember when Clive Owen did those BMW short films (directed by Guy Ritchie and starring his then wife Madonna) in an embarrassing audition to try to be cool enough to be cast as the next Bond?
