MS Access, part of MS Office but no one uses it. Or when they do they focus on how they want the final report to look and try to base the tables off of that, but that's ass-backwards. Gotta gitcho tables right.
Wikipedia has articles on database normalization, with examples of what it is.
Like if you're listing a bunch of different people's results on the same events that each occurred on the same days, then you need to put the events + dates in a separate table from the names + results and give each event a code that is referred to in both tables. Stuff like that. Normalize yo shit. Most n*ggaz ain't normalizin'.
