- the best thing about the film was the production / spectacle. it's amazing what these hollywood jews can do these days, and that made it well worth watching alone. i have no idea what's CGI / AI versus real sets, but whatever it is, it's mindfuckingly stunning.

- i didn't even know what the original wicked book/play was about prior to 2 months ago (i.e., revisionist history of the wicked witch origin story and that it had anything to do with the wizard of oz). the concept behind the book itself is quite smart and cute, and i can see why it has mass appeal to do a spinoff of a classic that everyone loves. i appreciated the creativity of the original book's author for coming up with the concept itself.

- while i liked the concept -- and appreciated the creativity -- of a wicked witch origin story, there are several major shitlib themes baked into the movie. as i haven't read the book or seen the theatre play, i'm not sure if the the shitlib elements are new to this film adaptation or already baked into the book.

- the most egregious shitlib element is racebaiting, with the witch being played by a WOC dyke. not sure if its the intent or not, but i think the movie wants to brainwash you to think that people unfairly discriminated against the witch because she's green (really, black) among a sea of white characters. juxtaposing the green discrimination and the black discrimination seems clearly intentional. i'm not sure the theatre production casted a WOC as the witch and had this element of racebaiting, but it was certainly there in the film.

- the next most egregious shitlib element the theme of the witch/wizard feud being about animal rights. it also struck wife and i as both somewhat of a holocaust/nazi film. one day, for no reason at all, muchkinland decided to ban talking animals and put them in cages. the witch is the hero for wanting to free the animals (i.e., jews), and everyone else are evil nazis. i dunno if we're trying to read too much into this with the holocaust theme, but maybe not.

- the casting is also total shitlibbery. an azngirl playing a lead role as the headmaster seems totally out of place. the hot girl's two best friends are a gay asian guy and an obese girl. the whole casting just seemed like a multicultural mismash.

- ariana grande is fugly; her face looks totally weird and deformed and ethnic. yeah, she's got a tiny little body and no tits, but i don't see how anyone can think she's hot.

- the movie is well over 2.5 hrs, but it's not boring at all. it's very overstimulating and the sensory overload and fast scene changing definitely kept us engaged. definitely a good ADHD movie

- i can't believe they're making a sequel of this. hollywood jews are really trying to milk this for all they can. one classic, clean movie is much better than ending midway through the story. it's a very cheap trick.

- i did read afterwards that this ugly short jew in the movie, ethan slater, left his 2-month post partum high school sweetheart shikse wife who has a phd (who is taller than him) and is now fucking ariana grande, whom he met on the set and she also divorced her husband for. what in the flying fuck? is he just after her money?

overall, this was an entertaining enough movie that i'm glad we watched to see what it was all about
