I'm literally fucked for this exam and not sure if it is possible to reschedule or if I should just try to swing it? I still have to read over a few tax sections and acquaint myself with the business law chapters so I can find terms easily in my indices. I don't know, how fuckt am I bros? Writing in Ontario.

"Writing in Ontario."

Well no wonder you're going to fail! WTF are you doing in California writing, when you've got an exam in Canada tomorrow?

Lol ok.

I feel so fucked. The pass rate is high in Ontario so if I don't pass it will make me look retarded to my firm.

yes. but even then, I don't know if it's possible to pass.. 'cause some of the questions do not specifically say what the subject is pertaining to (i.e. 'condo law')

and I'm not sure which section or subsection to refer to. it's not always that explicit and I have a SPS memory.

I went to a Canadian law school and anyone can take it as long as you have a JD (in Canada we have JD's as the designation as well).

$75K articling student salary - as a first year associate, prob around $100K. Haven't looked into that yet. We have articling here which is like apprenticing for a year - you don't get licensed until you complete that, then your salary goes up.

ya it's pretty sweet. and open-book bar exam - apparently 90% pass in Ontario, but the minimum LSAT to be accepted to law school in Canada is 160-165 so people are generally smarter. Bigger stigma if u fail the bar here though. I'm feeling really fucked, gonna jet now.

With a US JD, you need to spend ~6 months taking challenge exams or to prove competency in certain areas of Canadian law, even before being able to take the bar. Then you have to article for 45-70k for a year. Then start as an associate.
