Weaker? The country is collapsing. No benefit that this country has gotten makes the choices a net positive. Much of E. Europe is fragmented and has a ton of serious issues. That applies to every single E. Euro country I can think of. Example: what is Russia going to look like post-Putin? Ukraine could go in any direction. They could have another revolution in 3 months where literal Nazis or Communists or whoever takes over. Greece is still bankrupt. So on and so forth.
