And, yes, quite a few people come to my CCN expecting some summer 1L gig. Some have gotten these. There are still some firms that recruit 1Ls here, along with a few other of the 'top' schools. The only exception is if you want to clerk at some point down the road--then RA'ing for the prof might come in handy, particularly if he/she is fairly well known. |
