Just curious to hear who has more than one nationality - and which ones they hold. I'm guessing dual US-Chinese is pretty common on XO.
As for me, most of y'all already know I'm US-born to Colombian and Jordanian parents, so I hold three citizenships. |

I speak broken second grade Arabic. I'm enrolling in some night classes to try and improve it, because I find it shameful to not speak it decently. ( I read/write better than I speak.) My dad never taught me any and my parents divorced when I was five. Really wish I could've learned it properly as a child :/ |

Either country has the right to enforce its laws, particularly if the person later travels there. Most U.S. nationals, including dual nationals, must use a U.S. passport to enter and leave the United States. Dual nationals may also be required by the foreign country to use its passport to enter and leave that country. Use of the foreign passport does not endanger U.S. nationality. Most countries permit a person to renounce or otherwise lose nationality. |
