they're lying about what exactly happened on 10/7 (and at first hid the fact that Israeli intelligence knew about the attack plans a year in advance – they've admitted to this); they're lying about Israel's decades of oppression of Palestinians; they're understating and sometimes covering up the war crimes and atrocities Israel has been committing against truly innocent civilians since the attack.  they've convinced you that these people deserve to die, even the children (so many children! as of September, almost 3% of the children in Gaza had been confirmed dead, with thousands more missing under the rubble 😭😭) by pushing this narrative that they're all terrorists.

the truth is, Netanyahu is keeping this war going for two main reasons.  the first is that he's wildly unpopular and as soon as the fighting stops, it'll trigger an election and he and his coalition government will be ousted; the other is that this is a land grab.  he wants to resettle Gaza (and probably the West Bank), so he's murdering everyone to get them out of the way.  the U.S. is supporting Israel's imperialist ambitions bc we're their little bitch.  AIPAC and JStreet have our politicians bought out.  check the site AIPAC Tracker to see how much they've given any individual politician.  some have received millions.  our government officials are sick and corrupt.

I made a video with stats a few months ago about things like how many hospitals and schools they've bombed, how many journalists and health workers they've murdered, and of course the scale of the mass murder of civilians.  but it's hard to really represent with just numbers.  there are so many images, videos, and anecdotes that come across my social media newsfeed every day that I don't even know how to paint a picture of how awful it is.  I saw a video of a kid hooked up to an IV, burning alive in (what was left of) a hospital.  onlookers could only scream (and film) bc they didn't have access to water.  many international aid workers have reported a disturbing pattern of IDF soldiers killing kids with one shot to the head.  I saw a video of a sniper shooting a kid in the middle of the street, waiting until a man came to try to rescue him, and then opening fire on both of them.  and now Israel is blocking food and starving the remaining citizens to death.  the IDF is arguably the *least* moral army in the world.

I'm sure you knew some of this and I'm not trying to womansplain this or talk down to you as if you're not aware of ANY of these facts.  but I'm just trying to lay out a lot of the facts in one place bc I feel like when someone is truly informed, there's no way they can be on Israel's side here.
