Lost bball game by 2 in overtime, almost flipped out (Earl)

half our players including our best pg took the season off to study for the bar and do random shit.
we picked up a couple of "playground type" players.
Fucking assholes play no defense and jack up shots within seconds of getting the ball with no one in rebound position.
We were up by two, in the double bonus. I tell the guards, we dont need to score to win. this guy (6'3 250) jacks up a contested 3 with 30 seconds left. they get the ball on the long rebound and he fouls the PG on the fast break who hits two free throws. we bring the ball back up and the other pg feeds me and I get a lay up with about 20 seconds left. Up by 2 again.
Other team bring the ball up and our other guard waits till there are 8 seconds left to try and pick their PG. fouls him, he hits another 2 free throws. tie game. 7 seconds left.
During the time out I say give the ball to the off guard who is guarded by a fatass and he should drive and get a shot up witt 2-3 seconds, if not I'll get the rebound. Instead they pass it in to the 6'3 250 forward who takes 5 seconds to bring the ball to the half court, then makes a lazy spin move. Other point guard picks him and goes in for the winning lay up.
I cant fucking stand playing with people like this. |
