I know that one famous lawyer who got suspended for robosigning his NF pleadings, and I know some of those lawyers who got perma fucked for running runners in the Bronx back in 2009. One of them is a paralegal at my old firm now. I know a bunch who got tangled up with various insurance frauds but managed to get off with just letters of admonishment because their clients took the rap. And I know one who got PWND for running a medical office. His wife ended up in prison. Basically, if there's a dirty lawyer in NY I've met him. I'm worried that I'm pretty fucked when applying for jobs now that I have a very recent DUI on my record that I'll have to report, but that is another issue. |

The second guy had a bad gambling problem and he also stole client funds and commingled trust account funds. |
