I'm even seeing parents here in CA get excited about their kid getting into the flagship state schools from where I grew up (midwest). I suspect a lot of these kids realize UCs are a crap shoot and their needling pegging scores can land them other solid state schools elsewhere w/o stress. |

Indiana, Wisconsin both have perfectly acceptable undergrad b-schools and Illinois is tops for accounting. Big4 and non-MBB consulting totally w/in reach from those places.
Ignoring UMich and Northwestern since those are nationally competitive. |
