Then, there are those who owned both. Egalitarian. These are the people who, refined in their tastes, with the broadest degree of worldly understanding, cave not to the strictures of academia or the proletariat.
These folks went on to own a Saturn and transcended all. They became benevolent gods among men, not judging the lesser of their peers, but silently guiding the rest of society with a gentle hand. And when their advice failed to sway the ignorant, they did not rage at their failures. They simply walked on alone with a smile, understanding that they were once of the same ilk, for transcendence and supremacy place no burdens on the soul.
The Dreamcast came and went while others joined the comfort of the hive mind on their stations of play... and the world moved on.
