For example, the proud immigrant from the sensationalist NYC subway headlines is being vilified for violating a corpse of somebody who had presumably died that day. But per conservation of matter, the atoms of all people who have ever lived are floating around and have inevitably encountered our erect penises and tongues. Strict construction would require that we all be charged alongside the immigrant. Practically speaking, do the courts recognize that after sufficient passage of time, a "corpse" no longer exists, and whatever remains can be violated as one wishes?
