I never ate a lot of pumpkin before. It's 180 and low in calories.

I just baked a pumpkin for the sake of giving it a shot. I only ever ate pumpkin pies made by someone else but I was curious about the taste of the actual pumpkin by itself.
It is my new go to low calorie treat. It's pretty filling and tasty.
It will sound weird but I was on the lookout for low calorie treats and this turned out to be a great find. It's almost like sweet potato but just not as sweet and much lower in calories.

Any other healthy-eating obsessed faggots here? Or am I alone?
I started following Bryan Johnson and now I want to reverse aging too.

What about in Amerikkka?
"Winter squash: pumpkins, butternut squash, acorn squash, etc generally ripen in the fall, and almost universally have thick skins which aren’t normally eaten."
I got the pumpkin that is actually used in Halloween, it's the bright orange one that is carved for Halloween decor. So that's an actual pumpkin, ywia.

As a side note, one of the reasons I got it is that I found an article that said pumpkin is good for cats too. My cat is a whiner and a food beggar and I refuse to let it get fat.
He devoured the freshly baked pumpkin I gave it. Now we're both pumpkin addicts.

if you want to eat pumpkins avoid the decorative ones and the ones made for carving jack-o-laterns which are intentionally hollow with thick exterior.
"north american" food using the local ingredients is 180 imo

I baked exactly the ones used for carving jack-o-lanterns. Aren't those lanterns decorative? Not sure which types you're referring to as 'decorative' but I got the bright orange ones that are the staple of Halloween. They taste 180 and I can't believe I hadn't had them all by themselves before.
I honestly have to thank my cat for this. I wasn't all that interested, but my cat started with behavioral problems and requesting more food than the vet recommended.
Found an article that said pumpkin was great for cats' digestion and nutrition. I ended up eating it too and finding out what a 180 low calorie food I had been missing out on.
