Lady Friend keeps getting unwanted dick pics from dude. Advice?

Date: May 13th, 2013 11:16 AM Author: Bonkers background story dingle berry She's in TX. Apparently she went on one internet date with the dude a year ago, not even a kiss at the end. About a month ago he started texting, she basically told him not to bother. He escalates to dick pics, she tells him explicitly to stop, it continues, she blocks the number (without telling him or responding at this point), he starts again from a new one. At this point she threatens to go to the cops if it doesn't stop. It did for a few days until yesterday.
Seems like this is pretty clear misdemeanor harassment (http://law.onecle.com/texas/penal/42.07.00.html), but is it anything more?
Any suggestions on what to do here? I think she's going to the cops today but idk what they're gonna do, if anything. Dude lives in a city a few hours away from her. |
