has her moments of insane woman derangement but they're easily dispelled.

she's incredibly devoted, quite hot, and a great cook (important because I hate cooking and housework). tolerates my (extreme, bordering on unhinged) idiosyncrasies better than I can imagine anyone else doing. has been unfazed by multiple life circumstances that would have had others bailing fast.

only woman I can tolerate a conversation with >15-20 minutes.

all in all, I have no complaints.

I've known mine since mid highschool, and didn't initially plan to even date her. By the time I decided to, we'd already known each other for years and she was already pretty devoted.

If you'd asked me beforehand, I wouldn't have credited her as much resilience as she's had. I think it mostly has been a result of the following:

-- she already knew my faults before we started; nothing was a surprise

-- she had and has complete faith in me, and so far it's been well placed

In sum, I got lucky.
