i think it's bullshit and a total waste of time and it won't affect one bit how much money she makes. she'll get her 3% raise no matter what. for her to rise up, her next job is far more likely going to be in a different org within the company since it's very unlikely to get promoted in your same org. and even if there's an opportunity within her org, people will know her and they like her anyway.
i think she can use the excuse that she's pregnant and nobody will give a fuck and use it against her, and nobody will remember in 2 months whether she was there anyway.
i say spending 3 full days away from family is disruptive for a family with a 2 and a 4 yr old. |
