I'm at 7.5% bond/bond equivalent to 92.5% equities. That's the portfolio. Then I have some other stuff that has performed well this year, but its too expensive and I'm going to stop buying it. |

Home equity is basically the difference between what the house would sell for in the market and any debt that would have to be satisfied to complete a sale. Also, friend, my home equity (which already takes into account the mortgage) makes up only 5% of my net worth. I do not have 95% debt. Also, I do not owe 20x my home equity on my mortgage. |
