Fired Our WOC Nanny w No Notice/Severance. She Was MAF

i called to fire her in the evening after her last day last week. i gave her a very generic "not a good fit" bullshit with no specifics. she asked why twice and to explain and seemed shocked, and i just repeated BS that it's not a good fit and we're going in a different direction.
an hour later she texed my wife that it's messed up we pressured her to quit her job early and start for us and didnt give her notice and that it makes no sense that its "not a good fit" and its a lame excuse.
we ignored. havent heard from her since last week.

kids also hated her. |

Of course the nanny needs time to get used to the kid’s eating patterns and learn when they might need food. Actual good parents establish plans for this stuff. It’s expected that the mom would know best (it’s her child and she has spent way more than 2 weeks with him).
Also what was her excuse for not going to the park? Seems like an easy fix there.

this is exactly why people don't give examples when they fire people and why "not a good fit" is CR. it's easy to pick apart isolated points and debate minutiae.
i note you totally ignored the part about her sitting on her ass on her phone and totally ignoring them all day. care to address that part? and maybe you can infer from that that she put no effort into the meal time and getting out of the house.
why do we need to fix anything? there's plenty of people who would be better than her and her heart wasn't in it and we have no obligation to give her 6 months to see if she improved. |

we were very happy with turd girl nanny, who we had for 2 yrs. (biggest issue is that she would shit on our driveway.) we were also very happy with our previous nanny, who was a jewish grandma and a family friend.
