If you plan on learning any other languages after Dutch, then learn French or German. They offer many more language resources than English.

I bought a couple interlinear texts, but... I don't know, it still seems like I'm missing something.

Anyone can learn a foreign language. Some are quicker and some will have better accents, but any reasonably intelligent person can become proficient. It's just a matter of practice. |
