i'm most interested in MPP programs that will prepare me for future positions requiring experience in SAS/STATA. i have an undergraduate degree in economics but my knowledge of STATA is very limited. thanks.
you can get that training at any of the programs....Michigans is known to be quant, but princeton and harvard and well id assume most all of the rest will offer the level of training you are looking for.

do ppl really choose a masters program based on what software they use? this seems a little like choosing a law school b/c u want experience using microsoft word. if u know the underlying statistical theory, can't u just take a class or two in any college stats department to learn how to implement it using a particular package?
