If that sweet pass through rate isn't available to lawyers for their own firm, what if A invest's in B's firm and B invests in A's firm?

Also, what about having multiple firms within a firm.

Litigation Partner invests in M&A LLC and Patents Prosecution LLC, and their partners do similar things.

Or maybe I'm an idiot.
