Sometimes, they're Hot Girls, or at least Girls. But holy shit I found a pokemon video and the phenotypes and the whole vibe just seemed ignominious. I associate pokemon with Descended Losers because it's intellectually bereft. Maybe you can deconstruct the mechanics and figure out how to win "battles" but I mean, why would you do that when WoW, or RTSs, or fucking IRL exist? The only reason is because the participant identifies with the Loser Clique and not with the Nerd Clique, and is thus highly partial to Console/handheld gaming.
