Eg I think I’ve read that lots of people just eat the $2ishk cost and sink all the time into applying to the entire top 25 hoping to get one of them, and that’s also a big part of why the reject rates got so insanely high? Ie if you do like us olds did back in the day and apply to 5-8 schools with a few reaches and a couple safeties you are screwing yourself and will end up at one of your safeties if you’re lucky.
