thomas pink also started on jermyn street and is now TTT bullshit garbage. |

some savile makers, like anderson & sheppard, sell ready to wear at premier retailers like mr. porter; however, these collections are usually decidedly more casual and are not fit for business professional (or even business casual) work environments.
at the BB price point (and above), you'd be best checking out the following (note: these are american brands, but not all of them make exclusively in america):
- proper cloth ($$): dtc/digitally native brand that built its business on MTM but also does RTW tailored goods
- sid mashburn ($$$): legendary southern haberdasher; probably the last of the true #menswear-y shops that hasn't sold its soul for FaSHiOn
- ralph lauren purple label ($$$$): purple is moving away from it's "fake me out americanized brunello cucinelli" look, and the sub-brand is benefitting from it. some of the goods are still a bit tragically italian, but if you are looking to support an american brand, purple label is as good as it gets (note: while RL's other brands, particularly polo, can often succumb to the pressure of the woke mob in an attempt to be "relevant," their purple label has been largely unaffected by swings in the cultural pendulum. |

but no, nothing is "rebadged," and the design team is in-house. |
