Curious what the bort would recommend. Small, specialized practice area with good folks and basically 1:1 leverage or massive lit department. At a v20 BIGLAW firm. Small group basically without an equal in this town, gen lit probably safer if ever want to go elsewhere because most firms don't do the small group's work. Small group associates seem very happy. Go.

Small group is much better for lifestyle. But if there's a downturn in that group you'll be utterly fucked.

I will still get some lit experience in the small group. I guess my question is how much lit experience does a junior need in order to be considered as a litigator if god forbid the market tanked and I had to go to another firm that doesn't do what the small group does. Assume t10, top 15-20% or so, law review.
