of the big ones CA and FL are particularly dangerous and I'm not even counting the savage "teens" that ravage neighborhoods.
Parts of Texas are also hurricane/flood prone.
Most of the Southeast experiences powerful hurricanes, basically everything from Louisiana up through North Carolina.
The Great Plains experiences tornadoes, though not as frequently as the above issues.
Pacific Northwest has Earthquakes.
So is the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic/Northern Midwest the cr?

generally the areas that have the crappiest weather year round have the lowest probability of catastrophic events. I would probably lump Pacific Northwest into the "safe" grouping but otherwise cr.
