started several months ago. after about 40 minutes of biking, my left forearm would get kind of numb, and when i got off the bike, my left elbow would be sore, and bending it caused pain. the pain would go away after like 15 minutes so i ignored it.

but now the pain is more persistent. dull, but persistent. i need to extend my arm and relax it. the pain is mostly in the inner elbow. what could this be?

yes i will see a doctor eventually

I had a similar thing that turned out to be nerve inflammation. It's a vicious cycle because inflammation means it's easier to irritate which makes it more inflamed. I made a brace out of a hand towel and packing tape and wore it for several days to keep my elbow straight. That plus a lot of ibuprofen did the trick.
