They also dont fuck around with older areas of cities, they just demolish it and build well planned districts that are all connected by public transport, bullet trains, 180 airports. Its all designed so beautifully and efficienctly.
Lots of those tall buildings though arent govt, its private sector. Plenty of demand when you have been growing 7-10% for 40 years, middle class is always expanding demanding newer nicer housing. |
