Restaurant week menus are not cheaper than a regular lunch entree. They just give you the option to try out more things, including an appetizer and a desert. That's why waiters are perfectly happy to serve you.
Although in my mind, one of the hallmarks of a good restaurant is a waiter who will never treat a customer "like absolute shit" no matter what they get. |

The good (typically more expensive) restaurants put cheaper shit and smaller portions on their restaurant week menu, like pumo said above The shitty restaurants (typically lower priced) just throw a few items together that would probably costs less than $35 on a regular day. |

TMF's was better but it was all delicious. Overall a very pleasant experience. Did NOT like the live lobsters in the tank, so I will not go back. Looking forward to trying out more places.
Which brings me to my other conclusion: you're all crazy, miserable little bastards who can't just go out and enjoy yourselves. |
