Biden, at the UN, repeated, “We will not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon,” and as president-elect, said he would “use force as a last resort” to stop Iran’s nuclear program.

Trump (second term) reinforced the position at the Saudi summit: “We will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon.”

Meanwhile, Congress and the Senate have passed bipartisan sanctions repeatedly for over two decades, specifically to block Iran’s path to the bomb. Lawmakers on both sides have treated Iran’s nuclear threat as a national security priority.

Every branch of U.S. government has drawn the same line.

Why is any American suddenly opposed to getting rid of Iran’s nuclear program?
