Date: September 7th, 2010 8:59 AM Author: Buck-toothed Bawdyhouse it's hard to say, i think. traditionally it wouldn't have hurt much, because the economy was strong and public interest jobs weren't as competitive. no-offered 3Ls who took firm jobs haven't had much success with public interest ITE.
why do you want the firm job for 2L summer? the money? |

Date: September 7th, 2010 9:09 AM Author: Laughsome wine turdskin french chef definitely take the PD summer job. try getting some MORE public interest experience through clinicals or whatever else is available at your school. you're going to need to really stand out, and being able to point to a number of experiences that reflect your *lifelong passion* to be in public interest will put you ahead of the curve. that said, you may be able to consider splitting your summer, if $ is your concern. |
