Date: July 11th, 2020 11:16 AM Author: hairless appetizing temple organic girlfriend my sense based on the activity on this board and the content of the article (posts mentioned, their dates) is that someone familiar with this board and charles' irl identity either sent a tip directly to darcy with key posts linked or to someone else at cnn who then passed it off to darcy, whose job is basically writing hit pieces on people in order to get them censored. the tipper likely included some of charles' most potentially inflammatory past posts stretching back five years (including the "azn megashrew" post) as well as posts containing info on charles that could most easily be tied to his irl identity. darcy then took the tip, checked out autoadmit himself, spent some time gathering recent posts of charles' and confirming the tip was valid (most of charles' posts mentioned in the article are from the past two months, suggesting darcy has been lurking here for a few weeks), and wrote his piece. it's possible that darcy also asked the woman who was the subject of the "azn megashrew" thread to confirm she knew of charles and had been fb friends with him.
