Date: September 20th, 2024 5:06 PM Author: ...,,..;...,,..,..,...,,,;.., i did an online order at home depot for an in-store order pickup. when you do an order pickup, they typically "finalize" the transaction and then you get an email that the order has been picked up with your attached receipt.
last week, i went to the store and the employee seemed a little stupid and seemed like she was doing too many things at once. when i got home, i realized i never got the email receipt / pickup confirmation. she had handed me my order, and i assume she never clicked through on the computer to "finalize" the transaction.
i then went into my online order history and cancelled the order, and it successfully cancelled the other. (dont remember whether i got a refund or whether i just wasn't charged because you're not officially charged until you pick it up.)
i assume if i never actually cancelled the order, it would have automatically cancelled out anyway within 7 days for failure to pick up the item.
is what i did kosher? |
