🚨BREAKING: Italy’s birth rate has dropped to a record low of 1.13 children per woman with only 370000 babies born last year the lowest since 1861

Experts warn this decline is getting worse and shows no sign of recovery creating a serious challenge for Italy’s future population.

So I'm not buying any real estate in Italy or Spain or France. Its obvious property taxes will pay for boomers and nigger babies. Country is uninvestible.

the prob with these idiots poasting abt buying cheap prop in italy etc is its in random villages that are depopulated, those places will become even more depopulated in all liklihood and eventually govt services will go to shit, u may not even have stores and restos and stuff. thats why those places are so fking cheap

Yeah I gave up on any idea of buying re in eu. Last time I visited Portugal I basically saw the forefront of eu degeneracy and I'm sure the more well to do cities are just going to get there in near future due to demographics.

2055 41.6 -5.1 million (-11.0%) -29.5%

2065 37.0 -4.6 million (-11.0%) -37.3%

2075 32.9 -4.1 million (-11.0%) -44.2%

2085 29.3 -3.6 million (-11.0%) -50.3%

ljl at the median age in 2100 being 86 but apparently thats what UN projections have too if zero migration

Table

Copy

Year Population (millions) Median Age (years) Notes

2025 59.0 48.2 Current baseline

2035 52.5 57.5 Rapid aging as births collapse

2045 46.7 65.8 Approaches retirement age

2055 41.6 72.5 UN projects 34.6% over 65 by 2050

2065 37.0 78.0 Istat projects average age 50.8, median slightly higher

2075 32.9 82.0 Near life expectancy; aging slows

2085 29.3 84.5 Stabilizes around life expectancy

2095 26.1 85.5 Minimal further increase

2100 24.6 86.0* Upper limit assuming life expectancy ~85-87

The UN's "zero migration" scenario shows Italy at 28.4 million by 2100 , but even their models cap median age around 80-85 because:

Technical limit: You can't have half the population older than the maximum human lifespan

Survivorship effect: By age 85, only ~30% of a birth cohort survives; by 98, <5% survive
