Add in players who are intending to transfer and don’t want to ruin their new NIL which is contingent on being healthy. It forms a real group foot a lot of people.
ND’s Jeremiah Love was saying that factored into their decision to decline a bowl. They thought it’d be a fraud to play the bowl game with 1/3 of the roster missing and have that game go on the record. The players wanted their last game played for the season to be a real game with the actual team. |

I ALWAYS SAID that paying players would ruin the sport, that they were coddled and got "enough" perks at the big programs, and I assumed there was backhanded payments to these players too. Even on xo there were lots of people like "but the players deserve to be paid."

Yale even won a playoff game & kept it close against Montana State.
If you're a fan of Wyoming or UConn or whatever why would you give a shit about CFB in its current state, you're locked out of ever playing a meaningful game basically. It destroys fan interest in programs and harms recruiting, it should be a national sport not a regional cartel |
