I attended school in main metropolitan city, took transit to school for 2 years, about 1 HR commute one way. I did 5 year UG- stayed on rez first year which was stupid- was not the "incredible experience" advertised, was housed with type A nerds, but whatever. Other 2 years I rented an apartment with other guys, flat style off-campus res - cheaper and no meal plan. I'm really regretting living away from parents now considering the massive debt I have from undergrad & LS combined ($105K.)
I could have lived at home those at least 2/3 of those years and saved about $15K. Idk if it was worth it now. |
