when we played, it was always established who was taking the line on a bunt between the P and 1B. you can set it up a couple different ways, but however you slice it, you know ahead of time.
but you can also have the 1B crashing at the sign of a bunt, in which case the P needs to break off to cover 1st. that being said, the 2B still needs to be paying attention. if the P and 1B are both charging the bunt, 2B is the guy.
i didn't see the wide-angle of the play...i wonder if the chinks were playing straight up the middle for some retarded reason and the 2B was stranded?
