Date: March 31st, 2025 11:34 PM Author: emiliosexual the city doesnt actually compost. it ends up in the same landfill as trash. but now they will fine buildings that don't properly compost. they'll be sorting through garbage to ensure no compost eligible materials are mixed in with trash. most buildings don't have/allow garbage disposals in sinks and only whites and maybe asians will actually be diligent about doing this. so, lots of big apartment buildings are gonna get ticketed weekly.
