To clarify - as in odds for an offer resulting from the callback. Anyone?

much lower. i can only speak on pre ITE when i interviewed, but a lot of normal callbacks had 50-75% offer rates, whereas a resume drop might bring in 4-5 people for a slot.

it definitely depends on the firm though. if you had a resume drop callback at a big firm that was also bringing in people through OCI, the chances probably aren't much different. if you are interviewing with a midlaw firm that only plans to bring in one SA, chances are that they brought in AT LEAST 3 people to interview for the slot, probably more.

big law firm (v50), not sure where they are doing OCI but I know for a fact that I'm the only person they called back from my school

also, i've heard that the offer:callback rates at the other v50s i have callbacks with are 1:3. i would assume that it might be better than that i hope?

and i mean this is a legit callback (fully paid by the firm, etc.), not a screening where you pay for your own fare

sigh, i really like this firm

What about if they contacted you to set up an interview during OCI? Higher, lower or same?

i can't imagine what a prick he's going to be once his "plan" comes to fruition and he's back in biglaw, living the good life.
