Failure
+
If there is one thing Harvard students fear, it is failure. Failure can come in a variety of forms but for Harvard students, it mostly revolves around academics, your career, or [nonexistent] love life.
Here are ways I can define failure based on the past week: Failure is skipping four classes because you could not wake up in the morning. Failure is not receiving job offers. Failure is lacking self control. Failure is eating more than you should have. Failure is staring at your screen, not able to process words. Failure is lacking motivation or energy because you spent it all last week.
Amidst all this, failure can still be good, or at least the kind I have felt so far. Failure is not an act, it is a feeling and a perspective. You can get past failure. It is not a permanent mark but a passing moment. The best part about failure is that life goes on regardless.
